Baking is cooking in an oven. It is a process of cooking foods for a longer period of time, at a constant temperature of 300 to 400 degrees. Foods that are baked are made from a batter or dough. Breads, pastries, cakes, cookies. There are some fruits , vegetables, meats and casseroles that are baked.
